Terms of Use

Last updated: July 15, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Adventure Peter (“we”, “us”) covering the Track My Adventure app and the website at trackmyadventure.app (together, “the Service”). By using the Service you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

The Service

Track My Adventure records your outdoor activities using your device’s GPS and lets you share them live with people you choose. Features, and the plans they belong to, may change over time.

Safety — please read

The Service is not a safety or emergency service and must not be relied on as one. GPS accuracy, battery life, mobile coverage and your phone’s power management can all interrupt tracking without warning — tracks may have gaps, and your position may be stale or missing. The safety features (live link, SOS and stop alerts) are a convenience that depend on a working connection and on your contacts noticing and acting. They are not a substitute for emergency services (112 / 911), a personal locator beacon, or telling someone your plan. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions in the outdoors.

Your account

You can use the app as an anonymous guest. If you create an account, keep your sign-in secure — you’re responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account in the app. This permanently erases your data and cannot be undone. Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription — cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Sharing links

A share link is public: anyone who has it can see that adventure’s route, your live or last-known position, display name, avatar, stats, any photos you made public, and chat — without signing in. Only share links with people you trust, and be aware that sharing your live location carries inherent risk. You can stop sharing by ending the track.

Your content

Your tracks, photos, captions and messages remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to host and display them and to deliver them to the people you share with. You are responsible for what you upload — don’t upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights or privacy.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms.

Pro subscriptions

Donations and fundraising

If you enable fundraising, donations are processed by Stripe and paid out to the bank account you connect. A 5% platform fee applies, plus Stripe’s own processing fees. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of any cause you raise money for, for delivering on what you promise donors, and for any tax or legal obligations that come with it. We are not the recipient of, and do not hold, your donations, and we don’t vet causes.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, accurate or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service, including missing or inaccurate location data or an undelivered alert. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it, and forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give a more prominent notice. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the update.
